![]() ![]() Please note that if your order ships in multiple boxes, package components may not all be in the same box. ![]() The package item number is also listed at the bottom of your packing slip for reference. On your packing slip, package components are picked and packed individually and are identified with the code "PKGCMP" in the price column. Any backordered components will ship separately as they become available. In-stock components will ship according to our normal shipping time. When you order a package, you are charged one price for all package items. I initially bought this thinking it was the same as the other "Usborne Internet-Linked Ancient World" book we borrowed from the library however this one specifies "Encyclopedia" which I did not notice until we received it! Nevertheless this book (though a bit smaller and thicker than the other version) seems packed full of information and more details (lengthier descriptions on each page) that accompany the pictures and drawings on each page While the other gives a brief (usually one-two pages) on each period or area this one is much more detailed and lengthy I think this one is geared toward a higher age group but still suitable for elementary school kids Great resource for a general introduction to Ancient History for grade school children Lots of visuals will help keep the delivery of facts interesting even if the format is a little more busy/cluttered than the non-Encyclopedia edition (not sure what to call the other one) that just has mainly pictures drawings diagrams on each page with usually brief paragraph of descriptions to accompany eachĪ "package" is made up of two or more items sold as a set, often for a reduced price. ![]()
